The Spare Room

A comfortable full size bedroom fits two. Located in quiet neighborhood close to shopping & many tourist attractions including Carl Sandburg home, Biltmore house, Chimney Rock Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Etc. The space Full size bed with shared bathroom across hall. Closet available. Recliner, desk, dresser, lamps available. Guest access Large lawn & picnic table, Front deck with seating & table. Nice private road for walking/exercise, lots of hiking nearby, artesian well water, full kitchen access. Basement not available. During your stay I will be available at least by phone all of the time. I will be available as little or as much as you need. I like to greet my guests when they first arrive but that's not always possible. Other things to note YMCA & LPC indoor pool 2 miles away, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort for skiing, snowboarding, tubing. Rafting, canoeing, kayaking on French Broad River.
