The space The Lakehouse is one of only a few houses by the water's edge. Lake Eildon is a water storage facility so water levels are ever-changing at certain times of the year. You can see the water levels on the Goulburn Murray water website( Lake Eildon). Even when the water level is low the views and serenity of the countryside from the deck are wonderful. The house is an A-Frame cottage style and is a quaint getaway from the city. The bedrooms are cosy due to the A-Frame walls but the amazing large deck is where you will spend 90% of your time. When inside enjoy the cold nights around the cosy wood heater. In the Summer months, the industrial airconditioner ensures there is relief from the great hot weather outside. We give you the option to bring your own linen or to have linen supplied ( sheets and towels) at an extra cost of $100 - just let us know if you wish to bring your own or have it supplied for you. The parrots love to visit in the morning or late afternoon. While enjoying a drink on the deck at dusk look out for the local family of kangaroos hop by.
