The BeeHouse | Nature stay

Welcome to the BeeHouse! Completely renovated in July 2024, this unique retreat lets you share a space with bees in a safe environment. Feel the soothing and healing benefits of their presence while being completely protected. Immerse yourself in nature, relax, and unwind. The BeeHouse is conveniently located near several tourist attractions and serves as the perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of Slovenia. Experience a one-of-a-kind getaway at the BeeHouse! The space The BeeHouse is located on a scenic hill near the city of Žalec. This charming retreat consists of two parts: a cozy studio apartment equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and an upstairs terrace featuring an outdoor kitchen, two deck chairs, and garden furniture, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The top floor houses the apiary where the bees live. We offer guided tours and share fascinating insights about bee life. If booked in advance, you can also enjoy therapeutic apiary treatments. As a working bee farm, we periodically check on our bees. Rest assured, we use separate walkways to ensure you are not disturbed. During these visits, feel free to join us for a tour and ask any questions about our buzzing friends. Experience the tranquility of nature, the charm of the countryside, and the unique joy of bee companionship at the BeeHouse! There is a small power plant near the house. You may occasionally hear a gentle humming, but it is not bothersome and will not affect the peacefulness of your stay. Guest access We have self-check in. You will recieve all the information uppon booking your stay. Other things to note The BeeHouse was renovated on July 2024. So every review before that is of the old BeeHouse. We have since than upgraded the facility to even better accomodate our guests.
