Scenic Riverfront Cottage Oasis

Cozy, beautifully decorated and spacious fully furnished cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. Great room has fireplace, queen bed, queen futon, sitting area with TV and Wi-Fi, Fully furnished kitchen, full bath and air conditioning. Florida Room overlooking the Cass River has twin beds and another sitting area. Only 3 miles from Historic Frankenmuth. Best of both worlds! The space Our cottage was originally built in 1945 by "eight old men" who met "every other Monday" to play cards and to make pretzels. They named it the EOM (eight old men) club! It was later sold to the Vassar American Legion who met monthly. When they disbanded, we bought it and renovated it. It still has some of the photos of the eight old men as well as some of the Legion members. As the name implies it has a great "Point of View" of the river, wildlife, eagles etc. It is very private and cozy. There is a gas grill, picnic table and chairs as well as a swing by the river as well as fire pit with wood. Shopping in downtown Frankenmuth and the Birch Run Mall is very convenient. The Timbers Golf Course is only 1 .5 miles away. There are many, many restaurants from which to choose and there are festivals or something happening at almost any time of the year. The physical address is actually Vassar MI 48768, however we are actually just outside Frankenmuth so if you're using a GPS, you might want to use the Vassar ZIP.
