Tiny little village house- A Casinha (117312/AL)

Our holiday home is situated in the typical village Hortas do Tabual, which is still an authentic portuguese place. It´s perfect for your relaxation far from mass tourism but near by Zavial/ Ingrina Beach and many more bathing beaches. The space We try as much as possible to maintain the original charm of the cottage... see the beautiful wall tiles in the hallway! It is therefore suitable for guests who like the original Portuguese old building style. The house is situated in a calm village with about 50 inhabitants called Hortas do Tabual. It is still a quiet, cute and authentic portuguese village, situated in the Nature Park "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Altentejano es Costa Vicentina". This „pueblecinho“ is located max. 2 km from the popular beaches Zavial and Ingrina. There are only 5 minutes between your door and the beach towel... and: You can hear the ocean flowing! The house has nearly 40 m² indoor space plus a private terrace sheltered from the wind (15 m²). The bedroom window looks southward onto the patio and are not visible from outside the property. There is a main bedroom with a full-size bed [1,40 m]. The sofa can also be used as a bed, its size is around 1,1m x 1,85m. We offer the house for a maximum of two adults, the sofa bed and/or the additional mattress are only intended as an alternative or for a child. On the patio, you'll find an outdoor shower with hot water – perfect for showering off the salty water after swimming and surfing! Besides a toilet and a washbasin, the small inside bathroom hosts a bidet and a small shower. The fridge has a freezing compartment! For winter guests: We provide nice warm blankets for the cooler nights. In addition, the fireplace is equipped with a heating cassette that holds the heat. We provide enough wood briquettes for your arrival. Replenishment will be easy for you, for example at Lidl (briquettes) or other supermarkets and petrol stations. Guest access The house an the is completely available to you. Out of respect for the neighbors and due to the central location in the village, however, we have to ask you not to have barbecue sessions at night (after 22:00 h). Other things to note Coming from Faro (or Lissabon), follow the route to Portimao/ Lagos either via the free N125 (national highway) or the motorway/ autobahn. Travelling on the motorway is nice and calm! When reaching Lagos, continue on the N125 in the direction of Vila do Bispo and Sagres. After approx. 20 minutes you reach Rasposeira, where you'll find one of the last traffic lights on the national highway. Turn left towards the coast, keep straight and after about 2 minutes you'll reach Hortas do Tabual. For navigation, the postal code: 8650-281, the village is called "Sítio Hortas do Tabual"- not Raposeira. Turn left, then keep right. You can park next to the church, where we'll be awaiting you! For unloading it's possible (for competent drivers with small cars) to park directly in front of the house. Give us a call when you are in Lagos, please!
