The space The apartment is located in the first floor of a typical Ligurian building in the heart of Lavaggiorosso, a charming medieval borough located at 5 km from Levanto, the gateway to the famous Cinqueterre, and the sea. Lavaggiorosso, at 281 meters, is one of the valley's most antique villages. The church goes back to 1600, and most of the houses were built in that period. Ideal to enjoy a relaxing and quiet holiday in close contact with nature, its perfumes and the view of the Mediterranean landscapes plenty of olives trees and vineyards. From the apartment you'll enjoy the view of the Levanto valley and surrounding mountains. The apartment accommodates 6 people in its two airy and bright bedrooms. One with a large double bed and next to a complete bathroom and the other bedroom, a larger one, has 4 single beds and a second complete bathroom. In the terrace you will find a dinning table where you can enjoy your meals open air. The living room contains a modern open kitchen fully equipped, a sofa, a 32'' TV, and a dining area with chairs and table. The kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and gas stove. Lavaggiorosso is on a hill, so to get to the house you'll need to walk up some stairs. In Lavaggiorosso, at 1 minute walk from the apartment, you will find la "Trattoria Antiga Ustaia "Zita" a cosy restaurant with a superb view from its terrace, managed by a very nice family who combine the best traditional Ligurian specialities with affordable prices. Pasta home-made (advanced booking recommended). Levanto is strategically positioned to accommodate all travellers needs. You can visit the 5 Terre by train, or take an 1-1/2 hour walk to Monterosso. Alternatively you can take a boat excursion from the marina that links all the 5 terre villages: Monterosso, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Riomaggiore. On the other side, a bike track recently redeveloped along the old train route links Levanto with the beautiful beach town of Bonassola. It's also close to Portovenere, Portofino, Genova and Pisa. If you like hiking, you will find in the area 80 Km of paths filled with breath taking views of the sea coast, or leading you to medieval inland villages. Other things to note About parking, there is free parking space down the main road that leads to the house, please note that you have to park after the resident parking place which is indicated with an "L Residenti" sign. You can take your car to the main Piazza (or square) at the top of the hill where the church is located, and unload the car, then you have to go down the hill to park the car where you find a free space.
