Publix, Sprouts, Winn-Dixie, Fresh Market, Walmart, Walgreens and CVS are just a few examples. Hungry? We have just about every food chain, fast food or sit down Restaurant you can think of. There is a neighborhood convenient store right around the corner within walking distance if you need a snack, lottery tickets or gas.. We are 2 miles from highway 60. There are a couple of different ways to catch Interstate 75 which are approximately 15 minutes from the house. Orlando's Theme Parks and Outlet Shopping Malls are 50-60 minutes away, as well as the Gulf Beaches such as Clearwater Beach, St. Petersburg Beach, Fort Desota, Johns Pass Boardwalk and Hubbards Marina. The Sarasota Beaches, shopping and Outlet Malls are 50 to 60 minutes South as well. Downtown Tampa which has the Beautiful views of Channelside and The Riverwalk are 20-25 minutes away. Macdill AirForce Base is located 22 miles and takes approximately 30-40 minutes to get there.. The local Theme Parks such as Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowery Park Zoo, Dinosaur World, The Florida Aquarium , along with The Hard Rock Casino in Tampa are all approximately 30 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic. Recently opened, and one of the stops the Downtown River Walk Taxi makes is Armature Works and Riverfront Park, approximately 20 or 30 minutes away. We are located in the middle of everything. So many fun things to see and do for all ages. Guest access There is parking in the driveway in front of the private entrance French Doors. For your convenience and relaxation there is your private sitting area right out your front door. Other things to note Our area is well equipped with lighted sidewalks all throughout the area. Just up the street there are homes with horses and cows you may catch a glimpse of during a walk or bike ride. The shopping mall which is one of the largest in the US is 20 minutes up the street if its Retail Therapy you need. There is also a local Park, Lithia Springs that offers canoe rentals as well as play grounds, fishing, swimming and hiking within minutes. Alafia State Park is great for Mountain Biking as well as Balm Boyette Scrub Preserve. Just East up the road there is also another Park , Medard Park that offers the same things as well. If its horse back riding you enjoy there is a Stable next door. Turkey Creek Stables where you can rent horses and ride the trail.
