Rhubarb Cottage was built in 1855 and is a quaint white cottage with a modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. It has views over Newers Wood and easy access to Fluke Hall beach. Situated in rural Pilling it is ideally located for access to the Lakes, Trough of Bowland, Lancaster and seaside resort of Blackpool. This is the perfect base for cycling or rambling along the coast or into the countryside along with exploring the historic surroundings. The space The cottage is completely self-contained for your use. The rear of the house and the garden is very private and is a suntrap in summer. Secure and safe for children and a dog. With outdoor seating areas to relax and dine. The lounge provides a cosy area to relax with an area to dine, TV, books, games cupboard, and toys are available to keep you entertained. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to dine in. It also includes a dishwasher and washing machine. There is parking for two cars at the front of the property. One off-road (drive on or back in next to the porch, not ideal for large vehicles) and one on road (park in the direction of the traffic directly in front of the cottage) Please do not park or block next doors property. There is a Ring video doorbell on the front door for the security of our guests. There are no other security cameras on the property. Guest access You have the whole house, garden, shed and parking to yourself. We use a keysafe, so we rarely need to see you. The garden is secure for children and a dog. The cottage does have a low ceiling and step into the kitchen along with low ceilings up the stairs. Other things to note Within walking distance of the cottage is a convenience store, post office, chippy, The Elletson Arms pub (serves food & very dog friendly), hardware store, pet shop.
