WELCOME TO THE CAL ZONE! Lake Memphremagog is a special place located on the border of Canada with half the lake in the US and half in Canada. The views of the lake and the mountains never get old. We get the best sunsets too. The cottage is cozy but also roomy and is steps away from the lake. It offers all the creature comforts that make feel like home while enjoying this special place. The lake is shallow, clear and has a sandy bottom. The yard is large and available for family fun too. The cottage is cozy but room enough for everyone including the bedrooms and a loft that has two additional twin beds. Our kitchen is fully equipped and our beds are super comfy. We have two decks one for dining and one for staring at our gorgeous views. Welcome to our family cottage called The CAL ZONE that has been in my family for over 45 years! You will find a black welcome book on the table with additional information about your stay upon your arrival. Enjoy the complete access to our one story home, large yard, marked parking spots and beautiful lake. Help yourself to any lake toy, lawn games, chairs or umbrellas located in the brown "ice house" in the backyard. I just ask you return them as you found them. Because this is an older traditional cottage we have a sensitive septic system so please be mindful of running showers, dishwasher etc. all together. Our outdoor shower helps to relive the pressure on the system as well. We should have everything you need in the kitchen for your enjoyment. We love to cook on our Vermont vacations. We hope you find the cottage sparkling clean as we have a fussy cleaning company, so please leave the entire house as you found it including cleaning pots and pans etc. as you would in your own home. If you have any additional dishes etc they can be put in the dishwasher. Lake towels are also located in the “blue bedroom” closet. If you have any questions I am always available by text. There is lot of walking opportunity with the walking path located close to the cottage and in the neighboring areas. There is also a bike and walking path that starts in downtown Newport...
