Furnished & stocked with everything you might need during your stay, our ground-floor apartment is the perfect space to call your home away from home in Portland! It has a comfortable queen bed, spacious full bathroom with a large shower stall, washer & dryer, full kitchen with new appliances, lounge area with a Roku-equipped TV and even your own outdoor patio. Street parking is easy in our neighborhood and you’ll have easy access to I-405, I-5 plus, we’re just a 15 minute trip to downtown. The space We built this easily accessible apartment in the ground floor of our home with guests in mind. The high ceilings, large windows that let in lots of sun and private entrance make it feel like its own separate space. We’ve set it up to make sure you have everything you need during your Portland getaway. The bedroom has a plush queen bed to rest up for all your PDX adventures, room darkening shades so you can sleep in comfortably and a large closet to store all your gear. This leads into the common area where you’ll find a cozy space to lounge and a TV with a Roku device for streaming from all your favorite apps, plus an antenna for over the air channels. The kitchen is furnished with new appliances throughout and has a full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 burner electric range/oven, toaster, coffee maker & French press and a dishwasher to make cleanup a breeze. If you can resist Portland’s many amazing eateries, you’ll be all set to cook your own meals in the Airbnb! Just off the kitchen is an office area where you’ll find a desk - great for business travelers! This area leads into the spacious bathroom where you’ll find the washer & dryer, a large shower stall and vanity with lots of storage and space to prepare for your day. Outside your private entrance with an easy to use electronic lock, you’ll find your own covered patio which is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. We provide each guest with all the essentials including fresh bed & bath linens, bath toiletries, laundry and dishwasher soap as well as complimentary coffee & tea - everything you’ll need for an enjoyable stay! Guest access The keyless, electronic lock on your private entrance makes access simple anytime, 24/7. You'll have access to the entire ground-floor apartment and are welcome to hang out in the Adirondack chairs on your covered patio near the entry. Other things to note Please note that our young family lives upstairs. You will hear the sound of footsteps and plumbing noises. We provide a white noise machine and earplugs in the bedroom but if you are very sensitive to noise, we might not be the best fit. Your well-behaved dog or cat is welcome to stay.
