Description
Nestled on 17 acres in the middle of horse country, the bungalow is a peaceful getaway spot for golfers, riders and travelers who want to enjoy everything Southern Pines has to offer. Minutes from downtown Southern Pines (3 miles, about a 5 minute drive). There is a short queen bed as well as a pull out couch. It can comfortably fit 2 adults, with fitting up to 4 people total. Full kitchen, porch seating, and a beautiful view! *please note that this is considered a tiny house The space The bungalow is a perfect place to enjoy the farm-living feel of Southern Pines while being minutes away from all of the wonderful dining, shops and activities in downtown Southern Pines! The bungalow was built in the 1950s and served as a farm hands home for many years. Two people used to live in it full time up until the 2000’s! It was renovated in 2011 but still carries the old, original frame and crawl space. Guest access You will be able to access the entire bungalow area and surrounding land. Our road is great to walk for exercise or scenic views. Other things to note We do have 3 dogs that live on the farm and are often let out to run around - please let us know if you or anyone whom you are staying with is afraid of dogs and we will do our best to try and accommodate this. They are super friendly and may bark at you - but will then BEG for attention! If you’re interested in going riding during your stay, check out Fourth Rock Stables located in lumber bridge. I do not know them personally but have read good things about their trail riding.
