Thikana Delhi is a warm, family-run bed and breakfast in the leafy Gulmohar Park neighbourhood in South Delhi offering six well-appointed rooms, shared lounges, and a rooftop terrace. Thoughtfully designed with antiques, tribal rugs, and local art, it blends comfort with charm. The space Thikana Delhi is a charming three-storey independent home from the 1980s, with interiors recently renovated in 2024 to blend timeless character with modern comfort. It offers six well-appointed rooms across three categories: Deluxe Double Balcony rooms with a work desk, comfortable seating, and a balcony; Deluxe Double rooms with elegant décor and ample space; and Standard rooms offering cozy comfort. All rooms include ensuite baths, air-conditioning or heating, air purifiers and Wi-Fi. Each floor features shared lounges, a communal dining area, and workstations, while the green rooftop terrace and home-style kitchen serving meals from 7 AM–9 PM create a warm, homely stay. Guest access Each floor features welcoming shared lounges, a communal dining area, and workstations that guests are free to enjoy, along with a peaceful rooftop terrace surrounded by greenery. Guests have exclusive access to their own rooms and ensuite bathrooms, while the in-house kitchen remains for staff use. Our team is happy to serve home-cooked meals and snacks (10 AM–9 PM) and can assist with warming and plating takeaway food in the dining area. Room service is not available. Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout, including at computer stations for guest use. During your stay We, the hosts, reside and work on the ground floor of the same premises, while the upper two floors house the guest rooms. Thikana Delhi is our way of extending heartfelt hospitality to those visiting New Delhi. You can reach us easily during the day, either in person at the property or by phone, the contact numbers are listed in the welcome books placed in each room. The in-house staff is available and happy to help through the day. Other things to note No smoking indoors; designated area on the terrace. There are no TVS in the rooms, but they are available in the shared lounges. Airport transfers, taxis, and local sightseeing assistance can be arranged. Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM. Entry into the neighbourhood from midnight to 6 am is only through gate 7 of the neighbourhood, otherwise access is through Gate 1 throughout the day. *Note: Amenities such as Fitness Gym, Swimming Pool (seasonal), Walking track, children's play area, paddle and pickel ball courts are available in the local neighbourhood club nearby for a nominal fee.
