Maryhill Farm a bucolic get away in the Finger Lakes, 15 minutes from Cornell, Ithaca, Cortland and 1/2 mile from Dryden's Rail Trail. The farm is 225 acres of rolling hills, organic fields and magnificent gardens. Your stay will be in an entirely separate 1,800 square foot, contemporary, mid century addition to the original farmhouse with new kitchen and entry porch. The restored 200 year old barn now has new bathrooms and summer kitchen. Dahlia and Zinnia gardens surround house and barn. The space We are ideally suited to host families, couples and small groups. We are also an amazing place for family reunions, small weddings, workshops, etc. The 2 bedrooms accommodate 4 adults plus toddler bed and Pac & Play if needed. An additional 4 people can stay on comfortable floor mattresses in the semi private gallery area and the living room. Your private wing is decorated with beautiful antiques and modern furnishings, art work - paintings, sculpture, portraits, books. You will enjoy making breakfast in your own beautiful new kitchen/dining space. The kitchen is equipped with lovely hand made pottery by your sculptor host. We're excited to announce this years upgrades: new private kitchen, new private entry porch, restored 200 year old barn with bathrooms, summer kitchen and 2 new dahlia gardens. See photos. Guest access In addition to your own private wing you can enjoy outdoor areas for grilling, bonfires, reading in the tree house, playing soccer, corn-hole and badminton. The restored barn has bathrooms, summer kitchen, basketball and is a beautiful clean space for dancing, music and yoga. There are well mowed paths through the fields connecting to the farm tractor roads. Great for walking and mountain biking.
