Welcome to Walden! Walden is a couples retreat. Our cabin is brand new construction. It has an open layout, large windows, full kitchen and living room. One bedroom and bathroom complete with washer and dryer. Walden is tucked into the trees on a private lot. The deck is the best spot to sit and let the sun wash over you. At night its quiet and the stars are bright. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a quiet retreat from your busy life. South facing windows let the warm sun through while you're enjoy your morning coffee. A full kitchen means you never have to eat out, unless you want to, we recommend the Eagle Harbor Inn or Fitzgerald's. Large bathroom complete with laundry. Step outside, sit on the deck, and listen to the sounds of the woods. Our Cabin is located in picturesque Eagle Harbor. Walk to the beach and watch the sun rise over Lake Superior or snuggle up with a bonfire while the last rays of summer sun wash over the trees. Eagle Harbor Marina is just 1.5 miles away. Bring your boat and catch your dinner! Don't feel like cooking? Eagle Harbor Inn is just one block away and offers some of the best food, drinks and atmosphere in the Keweenaw. In the summer drive 14 miles to Copper Harbor and challenge your mountain biking skills on the Copper Harbor Trail system. Visiting us in the winter? We are just blocks from groomed cross country ski trail system and Keweenaw Snow Mobile trail access. Mount Bohemia is 16 miles away and boasts the best and biggest skiing in the Midwest! There is no land line available and Verizon is the only cellular service available in Eagle Harbor. There is WIFI.
