Large, beautiful room with single sofa bed. Central with river and park views on Jesus Green. On Chesterton Road. 5-10 minutes walk to Cambridge central shopping area, colleges and museums. This is a lovely Victorian house with a large fully equipped kitchen. The space You will have the large room shown. You have access to a beautiful shower room shown in the pictures . Not more than 2 other people would use that bathroom and usually no one else but you. There are 6 bathrooms in the house. Large, full equipped kitchen / breakfast room. Outside terrace and eating area looking out over lovely garden and a further park. A recent guest review: The property is located in the core of the city of Cambridge. We have chosen the room facing south, where you can easily find the entrance on Chesterton Road. This ground floor room is very spacious and bright, with a sofa in the Victoria window bay. The antique dining table is stylish and practical for multi-purposes. We had an afternoon tea, a breakfast and a dinner, wondering that this space could also serve as co-working and zoom meetings as well, as it feels like sitting in a historical library with a chandelier under the high ceiling. The view towards the Jesus Green and the river Cam is aesthetically therapeutic and restoring the mental stress from the pandemic from outside. The landlady definitely got good tastes as she had left some german architecture magazines in the room. The kitchen is also very clean, with six gas stoves for use and a stylish two-seat dining space against the greenish back gardon. With slight regret, we missed the opportunity to enjoy such cooking pleasure due to our tight schedule. As mentioned by the landlady that she owns several other Airbnb properties around the UK and Switzerland, we are happy to accept her invitation to host us again if the international travel limitation is eased in the near future.
