Laiban Bamboo Forest

Our rustic/bamboo-styled house aims to offer relaxation and peace. No wifi or signal, a purely off-grid place. Our electricity comes from solar panels, and water from mountain springs (bukal). To reach our place you need to hike for 30 - 40 minutes or ride a 4x4 service. The space The house is built with 2 floors, which can be rented per floor or whole. The first floor is suitable for couples or small families (5 persons), while the 2nd floor is suitable for big families or barkadas (10 - 15). We have caretakers (family of 3) that are ready to assist you. They live in a separate unit away from the cottage house. Guest access PRIVATE CARS 1. Take the Marcos Highway. 2. As you reach Cogeo, it will be about a 1 and a half-hour ride to Sitio Maysawa (on your left side). (You will pass through Boso-Boso Resort, Foremost Farms, Palo Alto, Masungi Georeserve, and, Garden Cottages.) 3. If coming from Brgy. Sampaloc, Tanay, it will take a 20 - 30 minutes ride to Sitio Maysawa (on your right side). (You will pass Cafe Katerina, Martessem Resort, Ten Cents to Heaven, and Pico de Pino.) 4. Upon reaching Sitio Maysawa, you will see the waiting shed and tricycle terminal. Take left/right turn (depending on where you coming from). Just follow the path, until you reach Nanay Minda's Parking Space. (Just after the cemented road.) PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION From Cubao, ride a jeepney going to Cogeo Gate 2. In Cogeo Gate 2 Terminal, ride another jeepney going to Sampaloc in Tanay and alight at Sitio Maysawa. Ride a tricycle going to Nanay Minda's Parking Space. Please note that we can be found in WAZE or GOOGLE MAPS by searching "Laiban Bamboo Forest". However, only 4 x 4 vehicles can reach our area, thus, search "Nanay Minda's Parking Space" in Waze, where you can park and where our staff will meet you. From there you have the option of hiking for 30 - 40 minutes or ride a 4 x 4 service. Other things to note The whole area is exclusive to your group only.
