The Arcadian is a white oasis located in a secluded Balinese village, surrounded by picturesque rice field terraces. This private villa is inspired by characteristics from the Mediterranean, fused together with Indonesian details and craftmanship. The space Welcome to The Oasis, a sprawling 6-bedroom estate nestled 25 minutes north of Ubud's center. This expansive property is divided into three distinct villas – The Basin, The Keep, and The Terrace – each with its own private kitchen, pool, and outdoor living spaces. The Basin: This villa features a spacious kitchen with a 12-seater dining table, making it an ideal gathering place for shared meals and group activities. The Basin can be easily divided to ensure privacy for guests staying in this specific villa. The Keep: Embrace the beauty of nature in this open-air villa, complete with a small kitchen, airy living room, and private pool. The Keep's bedrooms offer unique experiences: one with air-conditioned comfort, the other with a soaring bamboo ceiling and stunning views. The Terrace: This secluded haven boasts a fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room, private pool, and thoughtful spaces designed for relaxation, work, and creativity. All bedrooms throughout The Oasis include a queen-size bed with a mosquito net and a private bathroom that opens to the neighboring rice fields. The kitchens are stocked with all the essentials for cooking and entertaining, including fresh drinking water and Bali coffee. Guest access The Arcadian can be a little challenging to find if this is your first time visiting us. Our small road access is poor in quality, very narrow and has room for single car entry. Therefore we strongly suggest: LOCAL DRIVER DROP OFF OR SCOOTER / MOTORCYCLE ACCESS ONLY. Car access is possible for smaller car models, however we strongly recommend that YOUR DRIVER MUST BE EXPERIENCED and has a good understanding of Bali roads. We can arrange a private driver or scooter rental when travelling if needed. We do not suggest guests to drive their own cars to the property, however IF YOU CHOOSE TO BRING A CAR, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE RISKS BEFORE BOOKING. If you decide to drive your car yourself you need to be experienced and confident, especially with parking and reversing on a one way street. There is very limited room to rotate your car in our small parking area. Please be aware that OUR STAFF WILL NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR AT ANYTIME. Your car is your own responsibility if you decide to drive a car to your booking. There is limited parking at the villa and reserved for guests only. CAR PARKING IS NOT PROVIDED ON THE PROPERTY. If you intend on bringing a car during your stay, you will be responsible to find your own car park in the surrounding neighborhood. If you plan on driving yourself to the villa, on the day of arrival you will be able to drive your car directly to the villa entrance for luggage drop off. Our staff will assist with your luggage and then you/ your driver can find a car parking space off the property. As CAR PARKING IS LOCATED OFF THE PROPERTY, we will not take responsibility for your car as it is parked off the premises, and you will need to make sure that no personal belongings are not left inside and your car is kept secure by locking it at all times. Our neighborhood is very friendly and safe, but you still need to be mindful of this when parking your vehicle. Scooter use is advised and scooter/motorbike parking is provided directly at the villa. To make sure you are guided safely to the villa, we will provide detailed instructions for arrival once your booking has been finalised. The entrance to the villa, has a large staircase without railing from the carpark to the villa, with approximately 15 large steps. There are other areas on the property that are dangerous and hazardous, such as rail-less stairs and steps and pool access without gates or railings. Due to these limitations, the property is not suitable for children, elderly and persons not able-bodied. Other things to note Nestled amidst rice fields and farmland, our property embraces the natural beauty of Bali. This means you'll encounter insects, ants, mosquitoes, and lizards, especially in the open-air bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living areas. We do our best to keep the villa clean and insect-free, but living close to nature means occasional encounters with these creatures are unavoidable. The sounds of nature can also be more noticeable at night. If you prefer a completely sealed-off living environment, this property may not be the ideal choice for you. The Oasis Arcadian has a booking capacity of 12 guests and for adults only. If you wish to have more than 12 people stay please inquire with us prior to confirming and we can discuss options to host more guests if needed.
