Little School House near St Davids and Coast

Historic stone building with large gothic style windows. The school opened in 1877 and closed in 1982. Ysgol fach is the former infants classroom attached to the main school . Decorated with Annie Sloan paint & lime wash with original flooring in the kitchen and lounge area. PLEASE NOTE; Carnhedryn is a small Hamlet situated on the MAIN St Davids to Fishguard A487 Road. We are situated off the MAIN road and at times there will be traffic noise from vehicles and farm machinery. The space Ysgol fach is attached to The Old School House built in 1877 . It is completely self contained with its own entrance door. This was once the Head teachers teaching rooms for the youngest children . Entrance is private via a galvanised gate, stone wall and railings which make this a secure entrance for you and your family dog. Guest access We have a secure one acre Well being meadow (Maes Glas) guests are welcome to use to rest and relax in . Dog owners are able to excercise their dogs in this area. Maes glas is situated directly off the driveway . You are welcome to sit at the garden table or under the living willow structure by the pond, weather permitting, with your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine. We have added a wildlife pond in maes glas situated at the top right hand corner. You are welcome to sit under the living willow arbour and enjoy watching the pond activity. If you are bringing your family dog along with you please could you ensure they do not enter the pond. The pond liner is not suitable for dog swimmers ! If your K9 loves to jump into water we recommend you keep them on a lead in maes glas. Other things to note We are dog friendly and have 2 dogs a jackhuahua and a cavachon . We provide a welcome pack for your dog(s) , this includes ; Treats Biodegradable Pooh bags Towels Blankets Local veterinary contact info. We ask that your pet dogs are never left alone in the property. If you require a very dark space or blackout area to sleep in , please be aware of the following ; The large gothic style windows all have blinds but some of the arched top areas are not covered .
