This is a warm, clean, bright and welcoming large open plan apartment with great views. Guests will have access to a private bedroom, shared bathroom, and living/dining room and kitchen. Wifi is also available. I just request that you leave everything as you find it :o) We work full time but are around in the evenings and weekends. I am happy to give guests any advice or recommendations for activities around London, just ask! I love the area, it is a quiet area considering the close proximity to central London. There is a lovely little community feel with cafes, pubs, parks and shops many owned and run by locals. There are great transport links around the apartment, taking you both in and out of the city with local buses, tubes and central stations. The apartment is located 10 minutes from Kennington station (Northern line), 10 minutes bus ride to Waterloo station (Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo and National rail lines) and 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall station (Victoria line) and Elephant and Castle station (Bakerloo line). There are buses (59, 159, 3) that will take you to central London, Southbank, Tate Modern Borough Market, London Eye, Royal Festival Hall and Trafalgar Square in a quick bus ride. We are a 10 minute walk from the river from where you will be able to see Big Ben and the London eye, so about a 20 - 30 minute walk from central London. You can hire a bicycle from one of the many cycle hire docks around the apartment to get around zone 1 of London. We are a short walk from the river (approx. 10 mins) and about 20 - 30 minute walk from central London.
