It is one of the few buildings from this period to have survived the devastating 1956 earthquake. The house is nestled within the city wall that protects access to the island's best-preserved fortified village. The location is very quiet, nestled in the heart of the village's narrow streets. The sea view is breathtaking, and the beach is just 10 minutes away. 1-3 people The space Castelli Torre is a unique 15th-century house offering breathtaking views. The apartment, carefully designed over two floors, offers generous space and optimal comfort for up to three people. The first floor comprises: - a master bedroom with a king-size bed - a bathroom (toilet and shower) - a smaller bedroom with a single bed, a desk, a chest of drawers - a small wardrobe The second floor comprises: - a spacious living room/kitchen - a front balcony and a rear balcony. From the front balcony, you will enjoy breathtaking sea views. - It is important to note that the staircase is high and uneven and is not suitable for the elderly or young children. Please note that the house is under the protection of the direction of Byzantine Antiquities and we have neither the right nor the will to alter the exterior of the building. In addition to this apartment, two other apartments are available for rent: Castelli Porta and Castelli Loggia. Guest access Both the airport and port are a 25-minute drive from/to the apartment. Taxi and transfert services are available for 35 euros approx. and we could help you arrange this for your convenience. Alternatively, you can opt to rent a car directly from the airport or port, which can be returned on the day of your departure. In Emporio village, there are multiple public parking spaces within a 5-minute walking distance from the house, offering free public parking facilities. Other things to note The parking spaces are conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the house. Please note that the house does not have air conditioning, as this is a deliberate choice to honor traditional construction techniques.
