This private 85 m2 houseboat in the centre of Amsterdam is perfect to experience this fabulous city in a beautiful part of town in a unique way. The houseboat is situated in a quiet residential area (De Plantage) in the city centre near Artis Zoo and many restaurants. The rest of the centre is easily reachable by foot. Transport links to every major attraction in the city are very nearby. Renting this houseboat enables you to live like a real Amsterdammer. Welcome on board! The space To wake up in the morning with the reflection of the sunlight on the surface of the water and hear the water birds singing is a unique way to live within the city. The houseboat is situated in one of the oldest parts of Amsterdam, just around the corner of the university. The houseboat is situated in a remote, green part of the city but still in the centre on the canals of Amsterdam and privacy is guaranteed. The houseboat is very light, spacious and modern with big windows in the living room and an open, fully equipped and modern kitchen. The fireplace makes the evenings in winter very romantic. We also have central heating. The bathroom has everything you need; toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer. The bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed (1.80 x 2.10). Outside there is a terrace were you can enjoy your breakfast or a coffee or wine in the afternoon/ evening. Or whenever you like! Guest access The whole houseboat (85 m2) will be yours. There is one bedroom, one bathroom and a spacious living room, with adjacent fully equipped, modern kitchen. Also we have two terraces, one balcony overlooking the canal and one very sunny terrace with table, chairs and a sofa with comfortable cushions, a Kamado bbq and a parasol. Other things to note The first necessities will be ready for you: coffee and tea, toilet paper and soaps, shampoo and conditioner are provided. We’ll also leave you some treats to snack and drink (please let us know if you don’t drink alcohol). Several supermarkets are located within 100 meters and on the corner of the street is a Bagel&Beans which serves breakfast from 7:00 o'clock on.
