Hideaway in Gwithian. Close to beach/SW Coast Path
Description
“Diddly" is just as it sounds & perfectly located in the village of Gwithian - a designated AONB, just off the SW Coast Path. Short walk to the beach, where 3 miles of golden sand awaits. Close to village pub, eateries & attractions. St Ives easily accessible. Ideally situated for exploring both north & south coasts. Open plan living/kitchen/dining. Bedroom, king size bed & shower room (obscure window). Outside private patio & garden with off road parking. For a peaceful getaway, get in touch. The space Diddly is a private conversion where we aim to provide you with a quiet, yet cosy practical space that you will want to use as a base to explore SW Cornwall. Diddly is all on one level internally with 3 external steps for access. We offer WiFi with limited phone signal (in the village as a whole) but if a Digital Detox is what you are after, then look no further. For 6 months of the year you don't even need to go onto the road to walk to the beach as you can cut through the campsite. There is a shop open from approximately Easter - Sept and mobile catering vans that come in 2-3 times a week to our family run campsite - everything you'll need, is on your doorstep. NB: Its named Diddly as it is cosy but very well equipped and superbly clean. Guest access A key safe, details which are forwarded to you, means you can come and go easily, checking in and out at your convenience. Garden gate leads you to your own private suntrap of a garden with steps and french doors to the accommodation. We provide a BBQ (charcoal you will need to bring), recliner garden chairs and bistro set. Your own transport is probably best. There is a bus service that runs in the summer. Taxi’s are available from nearby Hayle. Plenty of off road parking at the accommodation. Other things to note Towels are provided for showering. Please bring your own beach towels. Tea towels, dishcloth, oil, salt/pepper, kitchen and loo roll provided. Some tea, coffee, sugar and a small snack are provided for your arrival but I don’t provide milk as there are so many options these days and allergies to consider. Easter - September there are washing facilities (washing machines and tumble dryers) in the campsite which you can pay to use. Alternatively, give us a knock and we can pop a quick wash on in our machine for you.
