Marc Twain, during the Italian tour, was fascinated by Villa Bice. The experience of living in this enchanting historical villa makes it a special place for family gatherings, birthdays, weddings, events and relaxing holidays. Villa Bice is located 70 km west Florence. The space Villa Bice dates back to 1850. The current aspect is the result of a remodeling in 1920. The villa is surrounded by a park of 15 acres, with fountains and swimming pools. Villa Bice is on three floors. Ground floor The portico area with amazing view on the park can sit up to 60 guests for a garden dinner. The arcades lead to a large hall with nice grotesques frescoes celebrating the style of Pompei. On your left side you enter a large dining hall open to the portico, that sits 25 to 40 guests. On your left side you will find a pleasant billiard room with a fireplace. First floor A large staircase leds up to the first floor. A large hall with frescoes opens on the large terrace with view on the Tuscan countryside. The main bedroom, with bathroom ensuite, also opens on the terrace. Second floor The villa has 11 more bedrooms (twin/double) and 5 bathrooms. Outside Portico for garden dinners. Terrace for cocktails. 2 swimmingpools with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Bartolomeo Cini, father of Elena, led paper industries, and met Montgolfier in Paris in 1851. Montgolfier brothers were used to visit them for holidays.
