The apartment Olivas is situated in the centre of the charming village of Unije,j just 1 minute walk away from the beach and a 2 minute walk to the little local grocery shop, a bakery and the local restaurant. Apartment Oliva has its own entrance and terrace on the ground floor with a summer kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor there is a little kitchen and a little toilet. On the second flooor there are two bedrooms. . Guest access The island of Unije offers many possibilities for a very enjoyable holiday such as: -swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear turquoise sea, -sunbathing and relaxing on empty beaches -hiking surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation (Mediterranean evergreen “macchia” trees, salvia, cistus, laurel, lavender, rosemary and thyme) and enjoying stunning views, -off road cycling (it is necessary to bring your own bicycles) .fishing with yor own gear -daily trips to other islands on local boats eating in the local little restaurants traditional delightful Mediterranean dishes. The passenger ship service provides connections to the nearby islands of Susak and Mali Losinj as well as the mainland cities of Rijeka, Pula and Zadar. Other things to note General House Rules & Conditions 1. OCCUPANCY / HEATING/ WASHING: It is very important to save the water because on the island there is just limited quantity of rainwater collected in the tanks of each house. For this reason, we must be very responsible how we use the water in order not to stay without it: • When washing dishes please use always a dishwasher and wash only full loads in dishwasher on ECO program • Laundry: it is not permitted to do the laundry (wash clothes). Please take enough reserve clothes. • The house water is not for drinking (so I suggest buying it), although you can safely use house water for cooking, tea or coffee. • Shower: if you shower, please take it very short and turn off the water every time while shampooing your hair or cleaning your body. Advice: Do not shower every day after the sea bath because the Sea Salt among lots of benefits offers antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that can provide mosquito bite relief • Turn off the water while brushing your teeth or shaving. • Don’t flush the toilet just to get rid of trash. • Use the garbage disposal sparingly. Environmental Policy We are dedicated to the protection of our planets resources and would encourage our guests to help us by: • Saving the water using it in a responsible manner • Switching of the air-conditioner when leaving the apartment • Ensuring that all windows and doors are closed when the air-conditioner is on. • Switching off electrical devices when not in use and before leaving the apartment • Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use; • Ensuring that all electric devices are off when not in use. • Please do not smoke Damage/ Losses • Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause or incur at the premises. • Please lock your apartment (and garden door if necessary.)
