Imposing Georgian house within the grounds of our 24 acre livery yard. Surrounded by horses, orchards & blackcurrant fields with footpaths for miles (2 dogs welcome). So much to do with a lake, picnic area, fire pit, large heated summer pool and grass tennis (both May- end Sept only), all year hot tub (extra charge £100/2 nights), croquet lawn, Boule Court & games room with cinema & table tennis! The space From the large entrance hall, enter the kitchen & breakfast room with range cooker, Tassimo coffee machine , breakfast bench, large table and ample storage. The spacious living room is complete with grand piano, 55 inch TV and a cosy wood burner for those colder evenings. The period table and chairs are at the heart of the majestic dining room, with large ornate mirrors and chandelier to make every occasion a special one. Up the stairs to the first floor landing, you will find a huge ceiling height mirror and the first of 4 colour co-ordinated & horse named bedrooms... Palamino is a king, Piebald has 2 singles, Grey has full size single bunk beds for kids or adults and the imposing Chestnut has an Indonesian 4 poster king and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower on this floor. If you picked your room early, you may be disappointed when you carry on up the stairs... ! Shire has a hand crafted 4 poster king and just as you think you have found all of the bedrooms, go up a final flight to the mezzanine where you will find Shetland with a king bed. Shetland overlooks the games and cinema suite where you can all chill out on the sofas and cow hide chairs, play table tennis or bring on the movie night with our big screen projector complete with sound bar. You have the choice of Amazon Firestick or you can connect your own device. This floor is serviced by a further bathroom and small kitchen area with fridge. The enchanting arboretum complete with central fire pit for toasting marshmallows is to the front. The side and rear of the house overlooks the paddocks that are filled with around 18 horses and on the kitchen patio we have the hot tub if you would like to use it (£100/2nights payment when here) A path from here will take you to our full size mediterranean Boule court. The rear lawn has croquet and is adjacent to the large heated outdoor pool (opens 1 May but may not be to full temp until mid May and closes 30 Sep) which has a changing room, sun loungers and BBQ deck with table for 12 & stunning views. Whether you want a brisk walk or a quick run, we have a 1.2km circuit track around our farm with our lake, pontoon and a picnic area by the stream about half way round. We are also home to Trek N Trail if you would like to enquire about horse riding during your stay. Guest access You have the full use of the house, immediate gardens, arboretum, tennis court (when playable) and pool. Other things to note Grass tennis court not in use when wet.
