Cosy chalet with swim pond and beaches

The Cosy Chalet is linked to “The Wild Atlantic Way.” You will find fine scenery, superb beaches and lakes. All kinds of water-sport activities. Very good locally produced food, like cheese. The space Who likes traveling knows the problem. Hotels can be quite expensive. One has to spend in the hotel for food and drinks. B&B's are sometimes offering small rooms with none or minimal cooking-facilities. You will miss your own private living-room. Holiday-houses are often only on a weekly base to get. They are sometimes too big. You can land "in the middle of nowhere" and with no reception. With our ambitious and new concept we try to make things a little bit better for you. Our accommodation is "All Inclusive"! Only the use of the washing machine (incl. washing-powder) and the tumble-dryer costs € 5 extra each. You'll find "The Cosy Chalet" on our own 60.000m2 park, forest and lawns. Save Sandy Beaches 500m from our gate. You walk just across the road and you are on our private wood-lane to the sandy-beaches. The Cosy Chalet was 100 years ago may be a shelter for shepherds and their sheep. We had to demolish the walls and built it new. The Cosy Chalet is now a mix of old stone-walls and a massive oak-frame coming from England. Many interiors and paintings are true and period. It is a "One-In-All-Solution" on 2 levels. The Cosy Chalet offers 2 beds (80x200) in the attic, reachable with a stair/ladder. The attic has only a max. height of 1,50m. One cannot stand upright! There is a little "Velux" with may be the best sea-views. Because of the limited heights and the way to go up, we can recommend these beds only for younger people! All others find a sofa-bed on the ground-floor-level (120x200). Please consider that click-clack sofa is as comfortable as a real bed. There is a full size kitchen (that means absolutely everything you need, will be there.) of course with a full-size dishwasher and a dining-table. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Sufficient tea-towels, bath-towels, even those for the pool will be there. The TV is smart, DVD, CD, Glassfiber-WiFi from the best. Please understand, that you may have to run a little fire to make the Chalet cosy. You will get all logs for free. All logs are homegrown and perfectly seasoned. The good thing is, you heat with a long lasting positive effect to the environment. Your "South-Terrace" is built like an old Roman Road. There you will find chairs , wooden bench and a coffee-table. A second, westerly terrace, surrounded by Rhododendrons will provide you with a simple dining-table and a sunchair. From there you have direct access to the natural swimming-pond (water is like swimming in a river, no clorine, no chemicals) and the decking with fantastic views over the Carbery Islands, Castles and Fastnet Rock. The is a shower with a fresh running water on the decking. The Cosy Chalet has 4 sleeping options and this is may be ok for one night or two. But to get a really cosy feeling we recommend it only for two people. The Chalet is not suitable for people with mobility issues(narrow door to the bathroom, step on the entrance, sleeping area in the loft).
