Description
Deer Lodge is a spacious self contained residence overlooking beautiful gardens. A perfect place to stay when in the Cotswolds, just a 7 minute drive from Cirencester, 20 minutes from Cheltenham, a 20 minute walk from the local pub and a 15 minute drive from the Cotswolds Lakes. The space Deer Lodge is a large self contained, fully equiped, one bedroom upside down house, set away from the main house. The bedroom is very spacious with a king size bed and when required a single bed and/or cot bed can easily be put in for children or friends. The living area is open plan, set in a large room with the original exposed beams adding to the charm of the house. A large deluxe sofa bed enables the accommodation to easily cater for 5 people. Guest access Deer Lodge has access via a private entrance with gated parking. Other things to note Deer Lodge is an easy drive to Cheltenham Racecourse, just 20 minutes down the road (subject to traffic). During the Festival the area is alive with activity and you will be in a perfect position to enjoy the thriving atmosphere. The house is situated in the beautiful Churn Valley which is an AONB so there are plenty of walks for the active guests, whilst offering a central position from which you can visit the many beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds. Just 20 minutes drive away, guests can spend time in the renown Cotswolds Lakes. Here you can do everything from sailing, swimming, waterskiing, cycling, open water swimming and dine at some fantastic restaurants (Japanese, French, pizzerias). Activities locally available range from horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, théâtres and cinémas in Cheltenham or a relaxing walk to the local pub. What better way to forget about the challenges of daily life!
