"Moonbeam Farmstay" -Nature, Shelter and You-

A place where you can just be yourself, where you can pause and reflect your inner-self in its purest form and just go for a walk in our farm area, meet the sincere and simple villagers, play with or can just observe our pet animals, be with the most oldest tribal community "The Lepchas", or just find peace with your favourite book in our peaceful verandas, learn more about farming in a most friendly environment, learn to live sustainably and instead of going too advanced, we prefer our roots. The space Hello. I am Farden Lepcha and I run a Farmstay in Nim Busty, Tunglabong, Kalimpong District, very close to Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal. I have started a Multi purpose project of agricultural farming and animal rearing, i am not an expert and i am myself learning everyday. I am learning and trying to implement permaculture in our farm, Learning yoga and meditation as well myself, trying to go zerowaste, basically trying to live a sustainable life. So i welcome anyone who wants to experience something not very regular in our simple farm and unexplored virgin lands. Guest access If you are with us, our whole village is yours. During your stay Try us, you can have your "you time", or you can just call us, we will be there to serve you in a blink of your eyes. Other things to note We expect the guest not to litter in our place, and they have to take away their plastic waste along with them. We allow alcohol but loud music or too much noise after 10pm in the night would be unacceptable provided if its low on sound, if our guest are smokers, we expect them to throw the ciggrate buds in the ash tray where ever they smoke and we dont allow to smoke in our earth-home. We have dogs in our farm and they play a very integral role in the security of our farm and they bark at night, so if anyone has problems, one should know this before hand. We dont have hot water facilities in the bathroom but of anyone needs hot water we will happily provide you with a bucket of hot water.
