1 light & spacious double room to rent in Rushden

Good Sized furnished double room 4.5m by 3m in size to rent in a quiet part of central Rushden. Tea, coffee and cereal for a light breakfast all available. I am looking for a professional, friendly, respectful and tidy individuals to rent a room in my home for up to 30 nights. 15 minutes by car to Wellingborough Train station, 20 minutes to Bedford Station, 20-30 mins by car to Northampton and a 40 minute drive to Milton Keynes The space I am a live in landlady, who owns the house with my sister. I have two double rooms to rent: 1 is available most weeks and 6 months in advance and the other is my sister’s old room. She has recently moved out and a lot of her stuff is still in the room so i’m renting it out part time until I can get it sorted. Please be aware if you book in there might be someone in the other room, but both doors can be locked with a key and there is a lock on the the bathroom door. If having someone in the other room is a concern for you, please drop me a message and ask — the other room is only open part time so it may well be empty. The house Includes: A Small Fully Fitted Kitchen including Fridge Freezer, oven, Combination oven/Microwave, washing machine Sky Broadband A Low maintenance Garden, mostly decked Gas Central heating Use of the shared main bathroom with a bath and shower. The shower was replaced and updated in January 2026 Sorry but no pets as I already have a cat. The driveway is for my use, so parking is on the main street outside the house. There are no restrictions or charges. Guest access The rented room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a tray to take food to the room but if you need a table to eat, you are welcome to use the one in the living room. During your stay I am a shift worker which sometimes includes nights so I can be at home at strange times of the day. I am currently working from home I can be contacted by telephone any time of the day Other things to note Please note that this is a shared house, not a hotel, so please treat my home with the basic respect. The spaces booked out are the bedrooms, with shared access to the kitchen and the bathroom. My living room is not a communal space. Please respect me and my house by giving me the space that I need, keeping the noise down (it is not a party house) and cleaning up after yourself, especially when you are sharing the bathroom and the kitchen with other guests. Any additional cleaning charges will be requested if required.
