All colors, races, nationalities, cultures, religions safe & welcome and LGBTQ friendly :-) English & Spanish spoken. The space This building has been home to my family since 1979. I grew up here as the son of Puerto Rican migrants in what was once a largely Puerto Rican neighborhood know commonly as "el Barrio" located within East Harlem. The apartment itself is a large private space with high ceilings, plenty of natural sunlight from both ends including a small roof skylight in the center. It is three flights up stairs. Inside you'll be greeted by a beautiful exposed brick wall, a cozy dining area, a well-equipped & spacious kitchen stocked with a stove/oven, refridgerator, freezer/ice maker, blender, coffee grinder/French press, espresso machine, soda stream, juicer. The cabinets are labeled. Both sides each have their own air conditioning and heating. Theres a single bathroom with full sized bath tub. Basic amenities include WIFI, local satelite television, netflix, large flatscreen TV W/ surround sound, Sony Playstation 3 (blueray). The main bedroom has a large Queen Sized bed, extra single person air mattress if needed. The living room lounger doubles as a full size bed that fits one or two comfortably. No shoes inside the house please. Guest access Main bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area. During your stay While I am the legal occupant of the apartment, I spend almost all of my time downstairs with my companion Jacqui and my father William. You can enjoy the entire 4th floor space all to yourselves without any intrusion! I am available by text or phone. A Family member is usually downstairs in case of emergencies. Other things to note This is 3 flights of stairs up. No shoes in the house please. smoking is not allowed. Please follow recycling guidelines.
