SVR-02204 The space Large living room area, big screen smart tv, comfortable desk/work area. Spacious bedroom with a queen bed and lots of closets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: including dishes, pots and pans, mugs, glassware, coffeemaker, toaster, etc. and a dining table with two chairs. There is a drip coffee maker. Filters, ground coffee, tea, sugar and creamer are all available and complimentary. Additional entry/ exit through the back of the apartment opens up to a beautiful back courtyard. There's also a side door that leads out to a beautiful separate side courtyard that faces Jones Street. Bathroom undergoing a complete renovation in November! All brand new everything, welcoming reservations again December 1st. Guest access Full access the the entire apartment and access to two beautiful and peaceful courtyards. Other things to note *****PARKING INFO******** Parking is on street. Meters in effect Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. Free after 5pm, free all weekend, free overnight any night. Parking on the same block as the apartment should be easy, you should have no problem finding a spot right outside the door on W Jones St. Here are your options: If you are coming just for the weekend: Parking in any spot around the apartment is FREE after 5pm on Friday and all weekend. It's ok and free to park overnight. If you are parking during the week: 1) Park in any spot that has a number and pay the meter Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. Pay at the muni meter with a credit card or cash or use the Parking Savannah Phone app and pay fom your mobile phone. Parking overnight is free. TIP: if you want to park for free on street, E Jones St just 3 blocks away has not meters, just be mindful of street sweeper signs. 2) If you don't want to deal with paying meters just go to the visitor's center **Currently closed due to COVID** about 5 mins away on MLK boulevard) and get a visitor's parking pass for the duration of your stay. Put it on your dashboard and park anywhere (pay attention to street sweeping signs). They cost $15 a day. **During COVID: you have to get the pass at the Parking and Mobility office on Bryan St. They want you to call ahead if you want to purchase them. Airbnb won't let me disclose the website or their phone number here but just search "Parking and Mobility Savannah" and go to the "Visitor's" tab. It's all there. 3) Garage option: forget about meters and street sweepers: There is a very inexpensive parking garage 5 minute walking distance from the carriage house. Called the Liberty Street parking garage. It costs about $17 for 24 hours. It is covered and safe. 4) Last option is park your car in streets nearby that have no meters: Ask me for the link to a map I created that shows the nearest streets without meters, can't put link here airbnb does not allow links. These streets are EJones St. (east of Abercorn), and any street South of Gaston Street. Both about 5 minute stroll from the apartment. Just be mindful of the street sweeper nights.
