Trails End is the kind of place that feels like it’s always been waiting for you. Tucked into five acres of peace and open space, it’s quiet, laid-back, and just a short walk to the Cacapon River. Less than a 1/10 mile walk to the Cacapon River, enjoy this peaceful retreat anytime of the year. The Cacapon River, located in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle region, is an 81.0-mile-long shallow river known for its fishing, boating, wildlife, hunting, and wilderness scenery. Families will love the large spacious 5 acre yard with plenty of room for the kids and pets to explore!Trail's End River Retreat is a three bedroom cabin with a full and a half bath. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second has a queen, and the last has two twin beds. A full sleeper sofa is also in the lower level den. Trail's end has a full service kitchen, a cozy living room with a wood stove, a screen porch and a deck with a propane grill. Other amenities provided are wireless internet, , DVD player, a full size washer and dryer, and a campfire ring. Roast some marshmallows! **Please note, we have limited internet providers in the area and speeds can be very slow or problematic and may not support multiple users due to infrastructure issues. Please have hot spot service available from your cell phone provider as a back-up if internet is a necessity. Cell phone service can also be problematic due to the mountainous terrain. Families, couples, girl or boy friends can relax and enjoy the peaceful and restful setting any time of the year for that well-needed retreat. Enjoy a morning hike or walk around this peaceful hidden country community. For the more daring, take a tubing trip and explore the historic river dam about 2 miles downstream. Stroll to the Cacapon River just a short walk from the cabin. *The Cabin is a pet-friendly cabin waiting for you. Guests are charged per pet, with a maximum of two pets. The fee is $40 per pet plus applicable fees. If booking on Airbnb, please be aware that the initial fee only applies to the first pet and we will send you a request for the additional pet fee.
