PrabhuKutir has been nurtured by my father since 1984 and reflects his approach to life i.e. simple, peaceful, resourceful and minimalistic. We are delighted to welcome you to experience our way of living and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. A home amidst nature, with mountains to gaze at. Has a pool, 1 main cottage with 2AC rooms,hall,kitchen,bathroom, wc. 2nd attache cottage with 2AC rooms and a small bathroom. Happy 2b a getaway to unwind & relax. It does not have any Wi-Fi. The space Nestled far away from maddening crowds in a sleepy village surrounded by nature. Simplicity has a new address with all essential amenities. Enjoy a coffee or a drink or a book, as you laze on the hammocks or khaats, and just while away time without being pulled away by technology. If you are more outdoorsy, then you can go hiking with our employee, or take a long stroll and discover the property and village. Suited for all seasons, this place really becomes another planet during the monsoons and the chilly winters. If you’re feeling spiritual take a 45 min walk and a 45 minute trek to an ancient Shiva Temple in the village or you can also visit other famous temples in the vicinity. We have deliberately stayed away from introducing wifi in our property. Guest access Nature lovers who have taken time out to connect with themselves and friends/family/colleagues will have access to the entire place as if it were their own home. Also available are carrom, some board games, cards and books to devour. Other things to note It is a simple rustic furnished homestay with essential amenities. This is our family farmhouse since the early 80s. The house initially was designed with only basic living necessities with no electricity. Then as years progressed we have to a great extent modernised the house and it has all essential amenities from a fridge, acs, functional kitchen, inverter. We have managed to stay away from the lure of WIFI thus far. Basically this experience gives one the luxury to enjoy nature and simple things in life. There is a main cottage having two AC rooms with a detached bathroom and a separate western toilet. A stones throw away is smaller cottage with two AC rooms and a smaller attached bathroom in the bigger room. The property includes a wonderful pool. A. Important Details i. Check in is between 12 noon to two pm and check out is at 12 noon. Any delay in check out will lead to additional charges. ii. Meal timings: Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. / Lunch: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. / Dinner: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. iii. The kitchen will open at 8 a.m., and will close at 11 pm and our manager will not be available to prepare breakfast before 8 a.m. or to serve dinner after 11 p.m., though guests can access kitchen and serve themselves. iv. Other than meals, any other arrangements of alcohol, beverages, snacks, etc., needs to be arranged by you. Under exceptional circumstances you could request our staff to assist while being mindful they will not have the needed funds and the same has to be provided in advance. v. Do what you can to add to the greenery and avoid littering. vi. While having a blast respect our peaceful simple neighbours. vii. We have deliberately stayed away from introducing wifi in our property. viii. Our staff is extended family and with us for years and hence at all times request to you to interact with them as you would with us. Rest assured, they will extend the same courtesy to you. ix. Any damage to our property, facilities, upholstery, cutlery, etc will levy an additional fine as per the damage done.  x. Other than the group who has originally booked the place no other guests/visitors are permitted without prior agreement with us. xi. If there are more than 6 guests we will charge Rs 1400 per additional guest per night and provide comfortable bedding on mattresses for their stay. We have comfortably hosted groups having 20 to 22 members B. Safety Guidelines i. Do ensure you take all the precautions as advised by our staff especially when using the pool or while venturing into the farm land as you can encounter friends of nature such as reptiles, insects, etc. Please do not venture into the farm in the dark and always wear closed shoes and full pants and carry a stick with you.  ii. Swim as per your skill and at your own risk. We do not have life guards or other equipment. Do not dive in the pool as it is not deep and you can hurt yourself. iii. Follow all Covid - 19 safety measures and protocols. C. Food Arrangements i. We have a detailed set menu with options for breakfast and snacks which you can choose from. We also provide options for lunch, dinner and Barbeque. Mani our manager cum chef is available to prepare your meals. The detailed Menu image is available under the photos section. ii. Mani, can also help you with restaurants available close by. Our humble request is to make the most of your stay here, be one with the surroundings and leave the place as you found it for the next group to have the same experience!
