This compact, bright, garden suite is decorated in a simple mid-century style. It has it's own private entrance, with free off road parking. It would suit a couple (or family with 1/2 younger children). Quietly situated above Mousehole, & just a short (5 min) walk down the steep hill to the stunning village & amazing little harbour, where there are great restaurants, an old pub, deli & galleries. Fab swimming & coastal walks are close by. Its perfect for a romantic break or a family getaway. The space We’re long-time locals who’ve proudly called this village home for over 20 years. Our goal is to offer you a beautiful, relaxing stay in a private, thoughtfully designed ground-floor bedroom suite. If there are just two of you, you’ll also enjoy an additional sitting room, a well-equipped kitchenette, and your own private patio garden. Plus, there’s off-road parking — a rare find in Mousehole! This is exceptional value in one of Cornwall’s most popular and charming villages. We’d be delighted to welcome you. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: In total there is only: • ‘1 king size bedroom' • ‘1 bedroom (or sitting room)' “••••there is NO SEPARATE SITTING ROOM••••” • ‘Small kitchenette (NO OVEN or HOB) • ‘shower room' • ‘patio’ • Off Road parking! It has its own private entrance, which leads into a small kitchenette, with sink, small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle & Nespresso machine. (There is NO oven or hob in this kitchenette). There is a shower room, with sink, loo, mirror cabinet, and heated towel rail. (No bath). The two main rooms, look out over the private sunny patio - both have distant sea views across to The Lizard. Bedroom 1: has a 'king size' ottoman storage bed with silky white Egyptian cotton bedding. A Roberts digital radio & Smart Tv. A good sized chest of drawers, full length mirrored wardrobe & chair. There is also an iron, ironing board, & a fan for hot summer nights! Lots of books to read on the local area, as well as a maps you can borrow! 'Bedroom 2/sitting room' : has a "stacker bed" - which triples as 'sofa' with ample cushions to relax OR can become a 'single bed' or '2 single beds' (these beds have proper 'pocket sprung' mattress's for your comfort). There is also a good size chest of drawers for storage, and a smart TV. This second bedroom can be used as a 'sitting room' - if you are a couple with NO extra guests, and there is an extra chair & small coffee table. Price per night is based on two people sharing the 'King Bedroom'. The second bedroom will be set up as a 'sitting room' - unless a request is made for the other bed/beds to be made up. If looking to book the other room as a bedroom- an additional guest fee of £30 per extra person/bed will be added. Please note: There is NO further sitting room if extra guests are staying. Both rooms have smart TV's, Wi-Fi and self controlled heaters (if it gets chilly). The rooms both look out to the front of the property over its own gated private sunny patio garden area with table, seating, BBQ/chiminea, parasol and tropical plants! (Please feel free to use the front lawn too!) Perfect for a fresh morning coffee or evening glass of wine! Guest access Access is from the front of the property, where you can leave your car in the driveway. The private entrance is on the ground floor; there are no stairs in or around the suite itself. The modern private patio garden is situated to the front, and can be gated off for the safety of wondering children! Feel free to use the front lawn also. Other things to note Although the accommodation is very private and totally self-contained, it is also part of/and below our family home - so you may hear us coming and going & normal day to day sounds from above. We would love to welcome you here, and feel extremely grateful that you would choose your getaway with us, we are local people, who live in here full time. It’s great that you would support us instead of uninhabited holiday accommodation! 😉 Price per night is based on two people sharing the double room. The second room will be a sitting room - unless a request is made for the other bed/beds to be made up. If looking to book the other room as a bedroom- an additional guest fee per extra person/bed will be added. A travel cot can be provided if needed. If you are planning to eat out in any of the local restaurants - it is advisable that you book in advance. We have a washing machine and dryer which can be available for you if needed, please ask and we can arrange.
