Welcome to White Pine Cottage. Outdoor charm with small town feel. White Pine sits on 14 acres on the edge of Moose Lake, Mn with two separate living/sleeping spaces. Surrounded by a mix of mature pines and hardwoods, we experience a wide variety of wildlife and birds. The community of Moose Lake is a gateway to the north boasting access to both the Willard Munger paved hiking/biking/smowmobile trail system and the Soo Line ATV Trail System, a public beach with boat access and a state park. The space The Cottage: 1 bedroom with a queen bed, Living room with a pull out couch and tv, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, sun porch (with dedicated workspace, day bed and small couch) and coffee corner. The Bunkhouse: 1 bed, chaise lounge, tv, beverage fridge, and screen porch with napping couch (seasonally). The bunkhouse is available for use for more than double occupancy or at guests request for extra cost. If you wish to utilize it for sleeping or just an extra space to hang out- please let us know. The screen porch is available for all guests to use. Extra sleeping spots include the pull out couch in cottage and day bed in sun porch. Guest access There is parking onsite to accommodate guest vehicles as well as trailer parking for ATVs, snowmobiles, boats or anything else just let us know if you're bringing a trailer and we'll direct you where to park. Other things to note We are in a wooded area surrounded by wetlands and do not use pesticides. That being said, when it's wet - there are mosquitoes. However we do offer a variety of bug sprays and have a screened in porch and sunroom to enjoy. We have a small raised garden and potted vegetables on the property. During growing season, Guests are welcome to pick any fresh veggies they desire. We may need to come and water the plantings and gardens or mow during warmer months and shovel/plow during cold months. We will always coordinate with guests so our visits are as unobtrusive as possible. We have a moveable fire pit and provide wood, fire starting materials and roasting sticks. We do utilize scented plug-ins occasionally and use regular detergent . If you prefer an unscented space and linens, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. We also have extra parking space for trailers, campers, ice houses with an accessible outlet.
