The Mill, Town Farm

The Mill is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. The space The Mill is one of seventeen serviced properties at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. ​The serviced accommodation comprises a two storey property with separate living, dining and kitchen. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (1 king bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom) and a family bathroom. ​The front door opens into the entrance hallway, with plenty of space to hang coats and store shoes. A second door leads from the hallway into a living room with two sofas and a wall mounted smart TV. The living area also has a nook with shelves, this area would be well suited to housing a desk. Under the stairs there is a cupboard which contains the vacuum and mop with a little extra storage space too. The living room leads through into the dining room, which has a large table with six dining chairs. The dining room leads through into a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms: 1 king bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom. Each bedroom has a freestanding wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The bathroom includes an over-bath power shower. ​The property has access to a communal tennis court, basic games room and a children’s play area on the farm. Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property but please let us know on booking. ​Wi-fi is included in the rental. Linen & towels are provided from the onset and fresh linen (but not towels) is provided on a fortnightly basis. ​We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details. The cottage is centrally heated by oil. Guest access The property is self contained, and located on Town Farm. You are welcome to use the facilities on Town Farm, which has a play area and tennis court, as well as local footpaths. There is also a footpath through the fields to the local pub, post office and tea room in Ivinghoe.
