All units are turn-key for tourists or business travelers who are looking for alternatives to the standardized, often impersonal hotel atmosphere. The space Sunny 16 sqm (172 sq feet) studio apartment with an amazing view out to the quiet backyard on the 4th upper floor (no elevator!) Please note when booking that 16sqm indeed is a small apartment and 4th floor without elevator is high up – so please pack light, the view is worth it. This apartment has large windows facing west. Because it has no building directly across, there is a panoramic view over Cologne and direct sun from noon till night. Queen size bed (140 x 200 cm), Smart-TV. Bathroom (shower)/WC. The unique listed building, with its neo-gothic façade, was built in 1885 and is located in the very city center of Cologne, close to the romanic St. Gereon’s Basilica. The 4.5 meters (13 ½ feet) wide building started as an addition to a larger structure with the same façade which was destroyed in the war. Guest access Your door code gives you access to the garbage disposal unit on the ground floor and the laundry room in the basement, where two coin-operated washing machines, a dryer and some detergent are at your disposal. Other things to note The total price of this booking includes V.A.T. as well as Cologne City Tax (5%). If you are travelling for business, we refund the city tax if you provide us with the necessary documents. Like most of Cologne’s surviving historical buildings, the listed statthaus does not feature an elevator. Registration Details 003-3-0011318-22
