Our HOME, CASA SONRISA has been the perfect place to raise a fun loving family. Now we host guests from around the globe. With magnificent views of beautiful Santa Barbara, the sea and lots of outdoor space. We invite you to enjoy our little slice of heaven! Casa Sonrisa is our home for 6 months out of the year so please expect it to be personal and eclectic with our things from all over the world. The space CASA SONRISA, Comfortable, Romantic, Spacious and Private, has been our beautiful family home "House of Smiles" for over 30 years. Casa Sonrisa boasts stunning, forever views, within a 15 minute walk to the beach or 10 minute drive downtown, a very unusual combination! Casa Sonrisa is our home and you will be our guest. It is not a generic hotel room or vacation condo. We live here for 6 months out of the year. Please expect it to be personalized and we hope Interesting. The rooms are bright, airy and open. If you need darkened rooms or hotel resort feel our home is not the place for you. Close to the harbor, restaurants, grocery and shops Casa Sonrisa sits on a private 1/2 acre in a cul de sac on the beautiful Santa Barbara Mesa. Our three bedroom, three bath Mesa home is family friendly. You will feel the serenity the moment you walk through the door. The gorgeous and roomy master suite (Cielo) has an oversized Thai bamboo sleigh king bed, down couch and sexy wave chair. The Asian inspired bath has a huge custom tile tub with double shower heads for bathing together. The second master (Eden) has an overstuffed Queen and a double futon couch that can fold out for an extra bed. It also boasts large double shower head showers so you can enjoy the views together and it's own patio with hot tub. The third guest bedroom, Cozy Palm features a comfy queen bed and oversized sliding glass doors onto a private patio with lovely garden and ocean views. The bath is just steps away down the hall. The living room, family room, dining and bedrooms all overlook the city, ocean, harbor and channel islands. Large outdoor living spaces becken you to immerse yourself in the Santa Barbara lifestyle surrounded by the sun and the sea. Enjoy a moon rise over the ocean from our hot tub, or a movie in our home theater. See the sunrise from the West coast with our unusual South East facing location. Casa Sonrisa truly is a house of smiles and laughter where memories are made. If you plan to stay with us please read all the details under "house rules" and "House Manuel" so you know what to expect and if our home is a good fit for your family. PLEASE NOTE we have a renter IN THE TRAILER at the back of our 1/2 acre property. You may see him coming or going down the driveway, he will pick up mail and packages and water. We may ask him to help if there is something you need when we are traveling. We want our guests to be happy and comfortable! Please let us know if you need anything at all. Because this is actually our home for 6 months out of the year it is completely equipped for your family. At Casa Sonrisa you can be immersed in our natural beauty without ever leaving your bed! We ask that guests not use our garage unless special agreements have been made. Occasionally we may need to access the garage or boat trailer at the back of the property, we make every attempt to contact our guests and let them know we will be coming. Other things to note Thank you for being a guest in our home! We want you to have a wonderful and memorable time. While you are visiting please try to care of our things and put them away where you found them just as you would want guests to do in your home. Remember to return all remotes to the blue ceramic bowl downstairs and on the window seat next to the DVD player upstairs. If something is damaged or broken please let us know as soon as possible so we can take care of it for you and our next guests. Gardener comes every other Friday or Saturday morning Trash and recycle is Tuesdays Hot Tub cleaner comes 2 times a month usually Wednesday Rosa Sanchez our wonderful and trustworthy maid can be reached for extra help by text or call or contact me for extra help. Please bring all used linens and towels to the laundry room Please load and start dishwasher Sometimes we have same day turnover. If Rosa comes before you are ready for her please start her in an area that is convenient for you Please do not leave food and trash (other than in trash cans) for Rosa to clean up. One of our family or a helper who lives in the trailer at the back edge of the property will be quietly coming to pick up mail or packages. Please leave them in the mailbox or on porch.
