Traditional Slovak Apartment in the Old Town

Welcome to our apartment/small museum where Slovak folk art and history meets modern world. With its great location you can easily reach most of the sightseeing spots by walking. The apartment and kitchen is fully equipped- even for demanding travelers. Moreover we provide many extra services for free (Netflix- movies on demand, vinyl records collection, maps...) and our support to make your trip unforgettable :-) The space Our place is located in a historical building from 1896 with high ceilings. It is furnished and decorated in very traditional style. You can find many folk art pieces as well as antiques here- making it a great place to explore Slovak culture and history. Many of the furniture and arts are very authentic, transferred from Katarina's grandmother's birth house located also in the Bratislava Old Town. Nevertheless, you will not lose the comfort of this century- the apartment is reconstructed, there is everything you need (TV with Netflix- movies on demand, Wi-fi, washing mashine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, iron, hair dryer, fan...). You can enjoy a retro turntable and a great collection of more than 100 vinyl records. For families traveling with kids we provide toys, games and movies for all ages (with very small kids please be aware of stairs without safety gate). There is also big park with children playground close to the apartment. Guest access The apartment is on the 1st floor (not the ground floor). We can store your luggage before check in or after check out in our cellar located in the basement of the building where apartment is located. It is easy to find a parking space close to our building. Moreover the parking is for free on weekends and 18:00-8:00 on weekdays. You can easily reach here by public transportation. There is a bus stop just behind the corner ("Ul.29. Augusta" and "Ondrejsky cintorin") and main bus terminal just 5 min walk (Autobusova stanica Mlynske Nivy, bus stop "Autobusova stanica") From the train station it takes 15 min by trolleybus or 25 min walking, or 8 min by taxi From the main bus station it takes 1 min by trolleybus or 5 min walking. From the airport it takes 35 min by public transportation or 12 min by taxi.
