Family friendly cottage short walk to Mary Lake

Located 5 min walk to Mary Lake in beautiful Port Sydney, Muskoka. Walking distance to sandy beach, public dock and boat launch area, general store, restaurants, park with jungle gym and swings, scenic rapids, tennis courts, and hiking trails. Few minute drive to beautiful golf course and grocery store/lcbo. 12 km drive to town of Hunstville. Large deck off back great for a BBQ or enjoying outdoor meal. Enjoy the beach by day and cozy up by the bonfire at night. The space Enjoyed by many generations in same family since it was built over 80 years ago. Many original features, including natural granite fireplace stone, large great room with traditional pine detailing. Although this cottage is sort of rustic, it is very special to our family, so please treat the space as you would your own. Guest access Entire cottage as well as outdoor space surrounding the cottage is for your private use. Accessed using a shared driveway with another property, located in behind this one. There are trees that provide a point of separation between the two lots and the neighbours are quiet. Other things to note This is a cottage, not a house. You may encounter a few bugs and possibly a small critter. We do a very good job at ensuring the place is as clean as can be. To ensure a comfortable stay, please don't leave food scraps out. Water is well water and completely safe to drink. Some aspects of the cottage are a work in progress, including the powder room (still functional) and the missing stairs off the front (don't worry, it is locked and there are two other entrances). Please note that the cottage is not lakefront, but just a short (5 min) walk to the water.
