A single, architecturally designed timber cabin, nestled into the trees by the lake, overlooking our certified organic vineyard. Ample amounts of natural light filter through the trees with vineyard & farmland views framed by each window. The stunning waterfall window in the bedroom connects the inside with the out, creating a memorable feature & allowing you to sleep under the stars. Please note the cabin is an adults only retreat. The space With one of the most central locations in the Margaret River Wine Region the cabin is a one of a kind getaway. Located on our certified organic farm, vineyard and winery, Windows Estate. Dappled light streams in from the many windows without compromising privacy. A day bed both inside and out makes the perfect space to sit back and immerse yourself in this special location, no matter the weather. You will find a vintage outdoor bath tucked away in the surrounding landscape complete with running hot water and for winter a cosy fireplace complete with a bakers oven. In an effort to minimise our impact on the environment the cabin was positioned to take advantage of the Northern sun and cooling sea breezes. It captures and stores it’s own rainwater, grey water is recycled onto the newly planted fruit trees and a solar hot water system provides the hot water for the cabin. The timber inside the cabin comes from a family farm, milled by my Father from trees that had fallen over the last twenty years. With every fixture, fitting & decor item possible being made in Australia the cabin is a testament to Australian craftsmanship. Guest access Entire Cabin and surrounds. Other things to note We have a very strict No Smoking/No Flames Outside policy due to our location and bushfire risk. No Smoking Inside. No Open Flames Inside. No Smoking Outside (due to fire risk). No Open Flames Outside. No Smokers. Anyone caught smoking or with an open flame will be removed from the property immediately without a refund, risks a fine and will receive a bad review. Use of the fire is not permitted once burning permits are in place within the City or if the owners of the property deem it too risky. If there is no firewood in the cabin it can be taken that the fire is not available to use. We cannot stress how dangerous open flames are on our property to our farm, our livelihood and that of our neighbours. It will simply not be tolerated. For one morning in February pickers will be present in the vineyard block in front of you whilst we pick our grapes. Spray season runs Sept - Jan, we are certified organic so no sprays are dangerous however you may see a tractor early in the morning in the front block of vines.
