This beautiful stilt home is ready to welcome you! We have a very desirable deep water canal, perfect for any boat. Just 15 minutes from the gulf where you’ll have the best scalloping, fishing, and boating. And you can kayak in the river right from the dock. Our dock can fit two boats up to 40 feet, Watch manatees, dolphins and our sea otter right from the deck! Sleeps 8 and has two beautiful screened porches. Amenities include fully stocked kitchen, whole house generator, kayaks, and a grill The space This home is well appointed with new furnishings and a luxurious Italian leather sofa. But, you aren’t coming to Crystal River to hang out inside the house! It is also a perfect location for fishing and boating, with fast, easy access to the Gulf of Mexico. You will have two fully screened porches: an upstairs, outdoor screened dining area overlooking the canal and downstairs large, fully screened porch with comfortable outdoor seating, a second dining table, a hammock and a grill. Be sure to keep your eyes out for dolphins, manatees, or our friendly neighborhood sea otter who all cruise through the canal. We are on one of the coveted deep water canals of Crystal River. There is 50-feet of canal frontage where you can easily dock two boats up to 40 feet total length. We have parking for 2 cars and one boat trailer in designated spaces and shared street parking that is usually open for a second trailer or another car. Access to the Gulf is fast and easy from this home in about 15-20 minutes by boat. In summer months (and in season), you will want to enjoy scalloping, so bring your snorkeling gear! There is absolutely amazing year-round fishing in the Gulf and in Crystal River. We have a dock-side water and a fish cleaning station ready to get your dinner ready. There are usually two single kayaks for you to use during your stay and more kayaks can be provided with sufficient notice for a small delivery charge. There are a couple of things you need to know about this house. First, it is a walk-up stilt home where access is via a full flight of steps, so this home is not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or those who have trouble navigating stairs. The third bedroom is a Florida room that is accessed from a sliding door on the deck or from the shared master bathroom. It has its own high powered built-in A/C unit and heater to keep it temperate. This third bedroom has 2 twin daybeds with 2 floor level trundle beds. It is more suitable for 2 adults who want to wake up to beautiful sunrise waterfront views from the walls of glass, or 4 children who want a sleepover feel. Lastly, this is Florida and we are subject to all kinds of local, regional and national weather. The good news is that this house has a full-house generator so a power outage is not going to ruin your trip. The house is hurricane proof and had zero damage from our worst storm in 100 years. We only cancel or close the house if there is a mandatory evacuation. Guest access This home is not suitable for guests who cannot walk up one flight of stairs. We have space for parking 2 cars in the driveway, another car on the street, and one boat trailer on the grass across the street. Crystal River has a noise ordinance and quiet hours are between 10 pm and 6 am. No parties or gatherings of anybody except registered guests are allowed in this home. Other things to note This home has an indoor washer and dryer, a whole house generator, an outdoor grill, and even a fish cleaning station to make your stay absolutely perfect.
