“The Dreaming Place” home is located in Laramie’s historic “Tree District” and is within walking distance to downtown, University of Wyoming, and the Gryphon Theater. This unique space is a cozy retreat with gardens and a private stone patio in the back that is a perfect gathering place. The environment has a warm & welcoming feeling and is decorated with original Aboriginal art. Guests have access to entire fully furnished house. This is a place where you can relax or work and feel at home. The Space This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, home is fully furnished and has wood floors throughout. At 1,300 sq. ft., it has an open design with ample windows that create a bright and sunny environment. There are two dining and/or work areas; one in the living room, the other in the kitchen. The kitchen is a perfect gathering place and has all the amenities needed for meal preparation. The kitchen is also equipped with reverse osmosis water filtration system. The full bath has tub & shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided; the half-bath is located near the common area. Laramie nights can get cool and there is a gas log fireplace, with thermostat control, for your comfort. Stack washer/dryer available for guest use and laundry supplies provided. There is available Wi-Fi and a 42” television with HDMI for streaming your favorite online programming. Off-street and on-street parking are available for your convenience. This is my home, but I currently travel frequently, so my home will be your home during your stay. The Location The location of the house in the historic “Tree District” makes this central to many areas in and near Laramie. The following are a few: 1. Downtown Laramie: 0.5 mi 2. University of Wyoming: 0.5 mi 3. War Memorial Stadium: 1.7 mi 4. Centennial, WY and Snowy Range Mountains: 31 mi (30 min) 5. Vedauwoo: 20 miles (25 min) 6. Happy Jack Recreation Area Trailhead: 14 mi (13 min) Guests have full access to the home. Whenever possible, Host will meet you upon your arrival. Host will be available via email, text, or phone to assist you as needed. We can be flexible with check-in and leave key in a safe place. Historic "Tree District, close to downtown and various city parks. Many locations are within walking distance and this is a great neighborhood to walk and bike. Check-in time is between 3pm and 9pm. Individual special needs can be negotiated.
