Spacious and extremely comfortable, converted with high end fixtures and fittings. Has underfloor heating throughout, is on one level, with excellent Fibre broadband. This barn is part of an old farm complex, recently sympathetically restored and turned into residential. Owner managed. Peaceful, surrounded by apple orchards, agricultural fields, woods and the River Teise. The open plan neptune kitchen is a delight to cook and entertain in and is equipped with all you could need. Large dual fuel range with two ovens and specialist griddle, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and nespresso coffee machine. The lounge area has comfortable seating, views of the gardens, internet tv and large retractable glass doors that open out onto a private, pretty, flowery sun terrace. There is an outside dining area with bbq, perfect for summer al fresco dining with a small completely secluded lawned garden. Spacious master bedroom with a wingback kingsize bed, super comfortable quality mattress dressed in luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen. Adjoining the master suite is an Italian marble tiled en-suite, with huge walk~in glass rainwater shower. Complimentary Neals yard toiletries. Wardrobes, dressing table, chest of drawers, hairdryer. The second bedroom is configured as a spacious office (fast fibre internet) with glass table/desk, chairs and shelving, the space is flexible and can also be used as a dining room if required. The beautifully appointed third bedroom, has a luxury tempur continental electric bed that can be split into two singles. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a further full Italian marble bathroom with deep set bath. Bath salts provided. Accommodation is adaptable. The property is cool in summer and lovely and warm in the cooler months as underfloor heated throughout. Freshly laundered and ironed linen and towels provided. Marden train station is a 5 min drive, there is free parking. Direct Line to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross in under an hour. The Barn is the perfect place if you want to be able to work from home, but have the option of being conveniently located to reach your London office. M25 Junction 5 approx 25mins. 50 mins Gatwick. Ladysden pick your own farm shop and cafe is a short walk across the fields, Hush Heath and Herbert’s vineyards are a five minute drive and divine in the summer months. Plenty of country pubs, national trust properties and Bedgebury and Bewl water are near with plenty of sporting activities. The coast is 25 minute drive. Lots of local amenities, but a car is a must. Suitable for disabled and wheelchair users as on one level. Please send me a message if you require specific dates or longer term availability. Most of our guests are between homes, buying and selling their house, extensive building works, re locating ect. I only take one booking at a time, so it is possible to extend your stay saving you the inconvenience of moving around. Just inform us of your circumstances and we will do our best to accommodate. Guest access A car is necessary. Parking for one car (discuss if you require more). There are several villages within a few minutes drive, Goudhurst, Horsmonden and Marden have convenience stores, post office, pharmacies and pubs. Marden has takeaways, petrol station and train station. Marden to London, direct train in under 50min, leave after 10.30am and it's £17.50 return and free parking! Banking and supermarkets can be found in the market town of Cranbrook which has all you could need. The beautiful Tunbridge Wells is 20min drive, for a larger selection of restaurants, retail shops, entertainment. Maidstone is 20 mins also in the other direction. We have a lovely quiet, upmarket camping site (Tanner Farm Park) next door, not at all invasive to the barn, you are welcome to use the shop to buy provisions and enjoy the facilities. Other things to note The old barn has just been converted into a dwelling, it is gorgeous and we would like to keep it that way for other guests to enjoy, so we ask you to please: -Remove shoes, we provide slippers -No smoking inside, garden only. -To only put toilet paper down the loo as we have a treatment plant.
