The space Renovated apt in a medieval house in a fairy tale like pittoresque valley in Poggio Bottaro near Testico, Liguria with close access to restaurants, a shop/bar, a beautiful church, postoffice and buses to Alassio and Andora. Excellent for hiking and only 30 min down to the Sea front by car or by bus, with everything you need within walking distance. Besides a fantastic view over the Ligurian valleys you have the possibility to stroll through the many surrounding olive gardens. There are many local shops spread out in the near vicinity selling top ranked olive oils and olives from the local orchards. Depending on season you'll also be able to get your hands on fresh figs, nuts, fruits and cheeses of all sorts. For those arriving without a car you have access to buses which will take you from Testico, 10-15 min walk from Poggio Bottaro. The buses will then also take you to the beach towns of Alassio, Andora and Albenga. There is a TV to connect your devices to and since the change within the EU to be able to roam for free we have cancelled the WiFi. But there is good 4G signal in the apartment. Wake up to the silence in this valley and have breakfast on the sunny balcony overlooking the valley and if the weather is clear also snowy mountains - a valley where the eagles come to nest. 2 big bedrooms, livingroom and a kitchen with all modern equipment. The bathroom is newly renovated to Scandinavian standards. Have your dinner at one of the restaurants for a good price and a beautiful view overlooking mountains. Lots of excursions possibility in rural country side - if you get tired of fresh air and nature you can drive down to Alassio or Albenga for some night life fun. Also Monte Carlo is only slightly over an hour away, don't forget to bring your ID! Possibility for italian cooking course and meal in a old fashion farm kitchen near by an Agriturismo restaurant in Poggio Ginestra where everything comes from the region. An absolutely fantastic experience that you don't want to miss! (you'll need to reserve in advance though) This is a fun place for children above 3 years - since there are many steps and level difference in the surroundings and can be difficult for very young children - There are nice excursions for children like caves (Albisola) Andora di Marina for the Sea and all restaurants are friendly - nice hiking as well near by.
