Ideal for couples & small families with two double bedrooms (king & superking/ twin), two bathrooms, & dogs very welcome The space The Byre is a stylish, single-level barn conversion offering a peaceful countryside escape near Newquay. Semi-detached and one of three barns at Trerice Holiday Barns, it has its own private entrance, contactless check-in, and easy on-site parking. At the front of the property is a secure private patio, ideal for dogs or young children, with outdoor seating and views across the shared gardens. Beyond this, enjoy far-reaching countryside views and unforgettable sunrises over open fields. Large shared garden with swings and garden games and shed full of beach equipment to use and space to store your surfboards. Dogs: Up to two dogs are welcome free of charge and are welcome in every room in the Byre and on sofas for cuddles (please bring throws with you). Welcome pack for dogs is provided with some throws, towels, treats and dog bowls. The enclosed walled patio keeps most dogs happy and safe but we understand that escape artists or jumpers can get over the walls. If we built them any higher there would be no lovely views so we tried to strike a balance! So many dog friendly beaches just a short drive away and lots of lovely countryside lane walks straight from the door. Inside, the Byre features a bright open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with two leather sofas, dining table for four, and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, double oven, microwave and full-size fridge/freezer. Relax with the 40” Smart TV, log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime, and enjoy fast Wi-Fi throughout. Books & board games for cosy, family evenings in. The property sleeps up to four guests: Master bedroom with king-size bed Second bedroom with zip-and-link beds (set as twins or super-king on request) All beds are made with 100% cotton bedding, and large fluffy bath towels are provided (please bring beach towels). For infants: travel cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat all available free of charge. Just let me know when you book what you would like to use. There are two bathrooms: one with a shower over the bath and a second with a luxury walk-in rainfall shower. The Byre is fully centrally heated and warms quickly, making it ideal for year-round stays, with plenty of hot water after beach days. For larger groups, all three barns at Trerice Holiday Barns can be booked together, accommodating up to 14 guests in total. Guest access The 3 barns here share a communal garden (as well as their own private, enclosed patios) and a large, secure storage shed that contains bodyboards, windbreaks and mallets, a BBQ for each cottage, buckets and spades, outdoor games including Giant Jenga, badminton, swingball. This shed is also perfect for guests to store bikes/surfboards/canoes/kayaks. There is one parking space per cottage. Please get in touch if you need to bring more than one car as we can probably facilitate this. Guests have their own driveway that is separate from ours. Other things to note We can provide a cot and high chair if required at no extra charge - Please let me know when you book. Please bring your own cot bedding. Please also let me know if you want the beds in the 2nd bedroom as 2 x twin beds or a superking. The hob in the kitchen is an electric induction hob, which can interfere with pacemakers so advice is to remain 2ft away from the hob if you are fitted with a pacemaker. Not suitable for parties or stag/hen groups.
