The apartment is located on the ground floor, has a private entrance and easy parking along the street. Family friendly in a quiet area, garden and a playground We just listed this property but as you can see we were superhosts managing other properties in the past. We want to make your holiday a dream - Make yourself at home at our place! The apartment is 50 square meters / 540 sq.feet and has all you need, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, hob and oven and microwave, toaster and kettle, and essentials for cooking, coffee and tea. The apartment is tiled throughout, living room has a TV and there is free strong wi-fi. It is conveniently located steps from two supermarkets, shops - and most importantly, the best bakery in town. The area is quiet residential area, a short walk from downtown. Two thermal swimming pools are in 3-5 minutes drive from our house. The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds, the living room has a sturdy double sofabed and sleeping areas have blinds that block the brightness of the wonderful Icelandic summer nights. The bathroom is tiled with a shower and a washer, all new appliances. Entrance has ample space for clothes and gear on hangers. From the living room you can enjoy the view of Vaðlaheiði mountain across the Eyjafjörður fiord. There is ample parking right outside. A public playground is just steps away. The apartment has a private entrance and you have the whole apartment for yourself. We live upstairs and are happy to assist you on planning and helping you making the most of your visit. If you have any questions we will gladly assist in any way we can. We live in a quiet residential area close to shops and services. It is in a walking distance from town center. We are close to the Glerá river, an area historically referred to as "the village by Glerá river" or Glerárþorp. Nice walking paths are laid along and across the beautiful Glerá river. Public transport - the Akureyri local bus services "strætó" is free of charge within Akureyri. The straeto bus station for buses to Reykjavik are by Hof Culture Center just 3 minutes drive from our house. We have a baby cot/crib that can be set up in the bedroom, and some baby toys and items.
