Our place is just back from Swan Street, near the Corner Hotel and Richmond's many pubs, cafes and restaurants. It's around the corner from Richmond railway station so travelling into the CBD and around Melbourne is quick and easy. The MCG, Melbourne Park (Tennis Centre) and AAMI Park are a short walk or tram trip away. It's easy to get to the Australian Open, AFL, cricket, rugby, soccer and Melbourne's many other events. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. The space Bed linen and towels (bathroom and kitchen) are included in the cleaning fee. The bedrooms and living/kitchen space all have split systems (heating, ventilation and air conditioning). There is fast unlimited internet (100mBit) with wifi access. Our space is unique because it offers easy access to Swan Street and Bridge Street Richmond, Melbourne CBD, and the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Precinct. The Yarra River, Royal Botanic Gardens and the Tan Track are also nearby. It is a great base to see sporting matches or other events at Yarra Park, Melbourne Park or Olympic Park. The MCG, AAMI Park, Hisense Arena, Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena and Sidney Myer Music Bowl are all close by. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the ground floor apartment. The apartment is fully appointed with two bedrooms, one bathroom (with shower), laundry and kitchen. There is private access and exclusive use of the ground floor apartment in a two-apartment building. We live in the second apartment upstairs and can be available to help with any requests. The kitchen is set up for cooking and includes a fridge, freezer, gas stove, large electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining table can be extended to seat eight. The laundry includes a washing machine, iron, clothes stand/drying rack and there is a washing line in the backyard. Other things to note PARKING: Guests can park free and unrestricted on the street using the available parking permit. The guest parking permit is hanging up behind the front door, so there is nothing you need to do other than to display it from the rearview mirror of your car. For accessibility purposes driveway access and parking in the carport can be made available.
