August Dates Available Our 3 bedroom family cottage has a very large private sunny garden, a conservatory to relax in & a farmhouse kitchen to gather in. We have reliable fast WIFI Set in a quiet hamlet surrounded by rolling hills, plentiful walks & pubs. It’s 60 minutes from the Jurassic coast The cottage has been in our family for over 50 years & offers a unique stay in a real home, rather than a holiday home aesthetic. Well equipped kitchen & comfy quality beds and bedlinen. The space The cottage is entered through a side gate into the level secluded wraparound garden and then through a large blue gate into the yard Once inside the generous country style kitchen has a large table to seat 8, tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of kitchen equipment and crockery The cottage has very good WIFI and a wireless music speaker that you can sync with your devices. Also making it an ideal spot for a longer term work/stay. The conservatory is through the stained glass windows in the kitchen and provides a great overflow space in the summer and a peaceful place to relax and look at the garden from. With additional dining table and chairs. There is a door out into the garden from here. The sitting room is a cosy light space with large log burner and 2 sofas and a chair. Smart TV and plenty of local guides and maps. The under stairs storage for cleaning equipment and childrens toys and games in through a cupboard door in here. There are 3 bedrooms. 1 large double on the first floor, and also a twin bedroom with beds that can be made into a double or folded underneath to make a single. The third bedroom is in the loft, up another flight of stairs and has a double bed and 2 additional alcoves which can be slept in by children up to about the age of about 10. The family bathroom is on the first floor and has both a bath and electric shower, sink and toilet The landing space has bookshelves with childrens books and some soft toys you are welcome to use Back downstairs and out of the kitchen door, accross the yard is a shed with the washing machine in it. Here you will find a seperate outside toilet and sink. Out into the level private south facing garden with garden table and chairs, hammock, bbq and deckchairs for al fresco living. The garden continues round to the front of the property with a large grassed area ideal for game playing or barbeques. The garden is fully fenced and dogs are welcome as long as they follow the rules! Guest access The property is completly private with its own entrance and a large private garden to the side which is not oevrlooked. The shared space is the car park, but we have 2 designated spaces there Other things to note The cottage has 2 wood burning stoves as its main source of heat. Guests will need to use the logs supplied to keep the fires going. However this heating system is also supplemented by night storage heaters and fan heaters are provided for the colder months. The shower is electric and provides intant hot water, Additional hot water is provided by an immersion heater for the Bath. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Ocado all deliver to the cottage.
