This purpose-built, modern chalet has been stylishly furnished with 45m of floor space and a 35m outdoor decking area. It sleeps 2 in comfort and luxury. The chalet is in an elevated position and offers stunning views over beautiful Loch Kishorn and the Applecross hills. The space Craigellachie Chalet is your perfect highland escape with incredible views of the Applecross hills and Loch Kishorn. It's just the place to relax and unwind while you watch ever-changing weather and tides... Guest access The is a self contained building, you'll have it all to yourselves. You'll have your own parking and huge (35m elevated deck) and the rest of the garden is shared with Craigellachie House. Parking is up a (fairly steep) track for 30m but there is parking and turning right next to the chalet. If you're nervous about driving up the track, you're very welcome to park at the bottom and walk (30m) up to the chalet. And you're right on the sea at the bottom of the track. We'll leave the chalet unlocked for your arrival so just let yourself in and make yourself at home when you arrive ... Other things to note The chalet has one bed and is designed for couples. We're happy for guests to stay with an infant (although you'll need to provide your own cot and high chair). Also please be aware that the chalet is not 'child-proofed' e.g. there are no locks on cupboards, there are no plug protectors and there is a drop off the edge of the decking. We have a Type 2, 7.5Kw EV charger attached to our house (we live next door to the chalet) which we are happy to make available to guests. Electricity payable at cost (currently 25p/KwH).
